Fallout 2 Restoration Project Dec 4 2019 Released 2008 Role Playing. Despite how much there is to do in Fallout 2, parts of the game always felt incomplete or rushed. Scratch that, you can totally just install WINE into your already-present Mac OS. From there you just get the Windows version of Fallout 1 or 2 and run it with WINE. It usually works pretty well with older windows apps. Sorry for all the lengthy crap. Check out the test results for Fallout and Fallout 2 in their app database. Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 work great on Steam with something called Proton which is available on the Linux version of Steam essentially allowing the games to run right out of the box. There is also a program called Lutris that works well for installing the games especially if you happened to buy the GOG version.

If you don't own the game yet, get Fallout 2 from GOG.com which is DRM free there and runs out of the box. Click on the links mentioned here, create an account using the signup in the top bar on the GOG.com website and buy the game. You automatically get when creating an account 14 free GOG games (+ some dlc's) added to your account so you have nothing to loose, only to receive! Make sure the setup file is downloaded into your download folder before running the Crosstie, so that Crossover recognizes the file and launches the setup automatically.
Use this CrossTie… to install the GOG game into Crossover
Make sure Crossover is installed before downloading/running the CrossTie. Or use Porting Kit. Buy nintendo controllers.
