So we wanted you guys to get a taste of the kind of characters you can create in Starbound.
So Solatrus and Tramsan have been wonderful and whipped up a web based version of our character creator.
It's not exactly the same as the one in game, all the options aren't there (yet). But we'll likely add to it over time.
Hitting create character will allow you to download your character as a png with a transparent background.
Tap Control to reset the view back on your character To dual-wield put a one handed item in the left or right click slot on the hot bar, then select a one handed item on your hot bar then if you click (with the left or right click, which ever you put it on your hot bar) you should be using both items. Pressing X lets you quickly equip these items.
To access the character creator just sign up for a forum account and hit the create character button on the right side menu

All commands start with /. To send commands, simply type them into the chat and hit enter.
Some commands require admin privileges: to gain access to these admin commands, you must first toggle admin mode on by typing the /admin command. Commands requiring admin privileges have Admin Only in their description in the below table.

Additionally, some commands require debug mode to be first activated by running the /debug command, the descriptions of these commands contain the label Debug Mode.
